MRC raises funds for scholarships that pay established CDL schools directly, helping eligible people overcome the cost of training.
An MRC scholarship is intended to cover approved CDL training expenses for selected applicants. It is not a loan and does not have to be repaid.
Applicants who face a genuine financial barrier to paying for CDL training.
People who are serious about completing training and pursuing professional CDL work.
Applicants who can attend training consistently and make a good-faith effort to complete the program.
Applicants must be able to meet applicable licensing, medical, testing, and program requirements. A question or concern does not automatically mean denial; MRC can review the circumstances.
Scholarship amounts will vary based on each approved applicant’s circumstances. The approved amount can be based on the applicant’s eligible training costs, demonstrated need, other available workforce or education assistance, MRC’s available funds, and the organization’s scholarship policies.
Submitting an application does not guarantee an award. Final decisions remain subject to MRC review and available funding.
Applications are not open yet. Email MRC to ask about future scholarship opportunities and the planned application process.
