MRC is being built around a simple idea: when cost stands between a hardworking person and career training, a community can help remove that barrier.
Financial support matters, but MRC also needs relationships, expertise, equipment, opportunities, and people willing to help students move from training toward a career.
Online donations coming soon. We are setting up secure online giving. For now, contact MRC to discuss supporting the mission.
Individual gifts can help MRC cover approved training and related program costs for eligible scholarship recipients. Scholarship funds are managed by MRC and, under the program model, approved training payments are made directly to the approved provider rather than handed to the student.
Businesses can support MRC through financial sponsorships, program support, in-kind resources, equipment, services, or other mission-aligned contributions.
Experienced CDL professionals and community volunteers may eventually help with career guidance, professional expectations, practice support, outreach, events, and other approved MRC activities.
Introduce MRC to training providers, employers, workforce organizations, grantmakers, community leaders, facilities, equipment resources, or others who could strengthen the path from training to employment.
Help eligible applicants access approved CDL training they may not be able to afford on their own.
Support the tools, partnerships, mentoring, and program resources that help students prepare for the industry.
Help MRC connect graduates with appropriate employment opportunities and a stronger start in trucking.
The strongest version of MRC will be a network: people willing to invest in students, schools committed to quality training, employers willing to consider qualified graduates, and communities that believe a good career should not be out of reach simply because someone cannot afford the training.
Support the mission, volunteer when opportunities become available, share MRC with others, or connect us with people and organizations that can help.
Explore sponsorship, workforce partnerships, training relationships, in-kind support, employee engagement, or other ways to help build a sustainable program.
MRC is developing scholarship funding and training partnerships. If you want to support the mission or explore a partnership, the next step is simply starting the conversation.
